Once Upon a Time Uxbridge 1-5’s is situated in Rockingham Recreation Ground within close proximity to Uxbridge town centre, A40, M25, local bus routes and the London underground. We are registered to care for 42 children a day and cater for children aged 1 – 5 years. We are open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, 52 weeks a year only closing for bank holidays. The nursery is brightly decorated with lots of examples of the children's work, photos and posters. The nursery is divided into two rooms by a floor to ceiling partition. The pre-school room caters for 26 children aged 3-5 years and the toddler room can cater for 16 children aged 1 – 3 years. The nursery has two outdoor play areas that are safe and secure. We make regular use of the park and the surrounding areas including feeding the ducks, nature walks and visiting the library. The nursery was awarded a GOOD status by Ofsted in April 16.

At Once Upon a Time Nursery our aim is to provide a warm happy place where your children can be looked after with stimulation, fun, rest, cuddles, healthy food and where they can grow into inquisitive, socially aware children. Our caring, dedicated, enthusiastic practitioners take huge pleasure in helping our children grow and develop to reach their full potential during their time with us. Each child will be allocated a key member of staff who will be primarily responsible for your child and who will be your principal point of contact. This enables us to best fulfil the needs of your child and provide you with accurate feedback on their development and well- being. The setting is fully inclusive to all children and reflects the different cultures and religions of our local community.
